Thoughts: 30-June-2009

The last day of June and the first day that it felt like summer here in Groton, CT. I cannot believe how fast this year is going.

I watched episodes 3 and 4 of Merlin last night via DVR. This is a pretty good series and has some nice special effects. The actor who plays Arthur is doing a nice job of walking the line between being a prat and being a nice guy. I really enjoy this series and hope that it building an audience.

The Closer had a nice episode with some wonderful comic touches. This is a great series and is very enjoyable. TNT is going to have, in a few weeks, three night of great TV from the 9 to 11 pm slot. Monday, The Closer and Raising the Bar, Tuesday HawthoRNe and Saving Grace, and Wednesday Leverage and Dark Blue. Dark Blue is a new show starting up about a deep undercover police unit, looks interesting.

Rockem Sockem Robots 2 is making tons of money and we will being seeing a third installment of this crap. Oh bother, thank God there are some good movies coming out like Public Enemies to watch.

Our department summer interns 22 and 24 have been cracking me up lately. Especially 22, who does not want me to write about her in my blog and has threaten to start up a blog about me, who she will refer to as 49. I said to her, and you probably will get as many readers as I do, after all you did not come back after your first visit.

These guys make me laugh and I wonder where my youth has gone.

Oh well.
