Harper's Island just passed the 9th episode mark, wiht 4 more to go. The big revelation is that Abby's mom had a baby with John Wakefield, the serial killer from 7 years ago. Of course the dimwits all think that Abby is the kid, guess it never occurred to any of them that this could be Abby's half sibling who is now killing everyone. This show must take place in a universe where nobody watched any slasher films. At least the Scream series acknowledged that information and used it in a clever and creative way.
Clever and creative, not two words I would used to describe Harper's Island.
The series finale of Pushing Daises was on last night. We did get some closure, the aunts find out that Chuck is still alive, Olive finds happiness with Randy and opens up her own restaurant which specializes in Mac and Cheese, and Emerson's book, Little Miss Gumshoe, reunites him with his daughter. A great series that the writer's strike killed the momentum for. A comic book series has been reported to be coming out to continue the story. Worked for Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and Angel.
Oh well.
